My lovely cousin is getting married! Man, I'm feeling old. I can remember this girl toddling around at our family gatherings and now she's grown into a beautiful young woman getting hitched! It was a lot of fun roaming around downtown St. Augustine- which is probably my fav location for engagement pics- and showing the local sights to her, since she lives in Georgia. So I was a tourist guide and photog on this day! I think I really captured the love between them and I'm so excited for her big day!

Kelli + Sean

A few months ago I was contacted by a co-workers daughter from many years ago. It makes me feel so great that she remembered I was a photographer all these years later! Kelli and Sean are planning a February wedding at San Sebastian winery and wanted me to snap a few e pics so we could get to know each other. They suggested the Lighthouse and I was very excited- this was my 1st time shooting there. It is stunning and I did not want to leave! Plus I had great subjects who are very in love and so relaxed. I cannot wait for their February wedding. Enjoy!

Teri + Eric

One of my oldest, dearest friends is getting married! Teri and I go wayyyy back. She was my dance instructor when I was growing up, taking tap and jazz. We have had many fun times together and I'm so thrilled that she has finally met the man of her dreams! Even cooler is that I know her fiance Eric from high school. We were in chorus and musical theater together. I was so honored that they asked me to be their wedding photographer. We met up in downtown St. Augustine on a chilly January day. Something that I love is photographing a couple in love- and especially a couple that is so giddy, head over heels in love :) It truly shows in the pics. Congrats to you guys and I cannot wait for the big day in March! xoxo

Kristin + Ben E-pics

Last Sunday I met up with Kristin and Ben in St. Augustine for a hot and steamy engagement session- literally! The weather here in Florida right now is just ridiculously hot, but thank goodness for the shade and the breeze coming off of the water. Kristin and Ben are such a cute couple- SO IN LOVE. She's got those piercing blue eyes and he's the cute boy next door. I knew right away that we would have a great session- they are very "kissy kissy" and needed little direction- making my job easy. I guess you could say the toughest challenge with their session was their height difference: he's 6'7 and she's 5'5!!! We had a great time and I'm excited for their wedding next fall at Orange Park Country Club.

Carrianne + Jeff

My very good friend Carrianne is getting married next May! She was a bit un-happy with her engagement session with her wedding photographer, due to a humid day and a makeup trial-gone-awry, and so I offered up my services to go for a "round 2" with them. I absolutely love taking pictures of friends- it's low stress, no pressure and overall, just a fun time! And so a new location + beautiful subjects+ a gorgeous fall day- and I knew we were bound to come up with great images! We spent a couple of hours in St. Augustine, hitting up some great scenic spots and having a great time. Carr and Jeff: hope you enjoy and we cannot wait for your big wedding next May! Jen + Darrell

My very best friend Jen is tying the knot.... again! She married her h.s. sweetheart Darrell shortly after they graduated h.s. and they celebrated 10 years of marriage and produced 3 adorable little girls. Like any marriage, they had some ups and downs and parted ways for a while. However, they were re-united last year and are tying the knot again! They truly are meant to be together!
Last Sunday, they came down to "my neck of the woods" in St. Augustine for a fun engagement session. This was something they didn't do the 1st time around and were very excited for it! And I was honored to capture it! We had fun roaming around the Mission Grounds and downtown St. Augustine. These 2 had me cracking up all afternoon! I can't wait to photograph your elegant wedding at Le Jardin in September! In the meantime, enjoy!!!

Emily + Jon

On Sunday, I met up with Emily and Jon in San Marco for their engagement session. This was my 1st time meeting them; they are such a cute couple & you can tell they have a lot of fun together. Emily had lots of great ideas- she wanted old buildings & funky walls as their background. That was a 1st for me- a new challenge! :) We wrapped up the photo shoot by stopping for ice-cream and getting a few fun shots of that- Emily's idea! I love when brides come to me with their own vision and ideas-makes for a great time. I'm looking forward to their wedding day on May 23. Enjoy!

Lauren + Ryan engagements

On Sunday afternoon, I ventured out to downtown St. Augustine with Lauren and Ryan for an engagement session. It was my 1st time really wandering around those historic cobblestone streets- and we were definitely on the hunt for great photo spots. We had a great time and found some really neat places! Walking around those steets really takes you back! Lauren and Ryan are a fun and laid-back couple- they were so easy to work with. I'm looking forward to their wedding on April 4th at the Oldest House gardens- in the meantime, enjoy these pix!
